Getting started with Unified Production Platform
A short orientation to signing in, finding your way around, and getting support — for anyone new to Unified Production Platform, whatever your role.
Last updated 2026-07-19Whether you are a crew or cast member, a client-side payroll admin, a production team member, or an agency user, this page covers the basics that apply to everyone: how to sign in, how the navigation is organized, why your screen may look different from a coworker's, and where to find more help.
Signing in
Enter your email and password
Sign In
The sign-in page asks for your email address and password by default. If you do not have a sign-in yet, you are usually invited by email — for example, as part of an onboarding packet or a client portal invitation.
Alternative sign-in options, if enabled
Sign In
Depending on how your organization has things set up, you may also see Sign in with Google, a single sign-on (SSO) button, or a Use Passkey option instead of a password.
Verification code, if your account requires it
Some accounts have an extra verification step: after your password, you enter a one-time code before you are signed in.
Forgot your password?
Sign In → Forgot password?
Use the Forgot password? link on the sign-in page to reset it. If you are locked out and the reset link does not arrive, contact [email protected].
Once you are signed in, the main navigation is a collapsible side menu. It groups the areas you use — for example your projects, timesheets, payroll, or approvals — into sections, and you can collapse it down to icons if you want more screen space.
Where Help lives
Open Help & Support from the main menu
Main navigation → Help & Support
A Help & Support entry is part of the main navigation menu and brings you back to this Help Center from anywhere in the app.
Search or browse by topic
Help & Support → Documentation
From the Help Center you can search for an article by keyword, or browse the Documentation section, which groups articles by topic and role.
The navigation menu reflects your individual role and permissions and the modules enabled for your production, so it is normal for different people on the same production to see different items.
It may belong to a module that is not enabled for your production, or it may require a role or permission you do not have. Check with your production or payroll admin, or reach out to [email protected].
Click Help & Support in the main navigation menu from anywhere in the app.
